I’m Becky! I’m a wife, mama of two, woman of faith, and former engineer turned money coach with a big heart for helping families find peace in their finances.

After 10 years in engineering, I felt God leading me to use my love for numbers and problem-solving in a new way: helping families find peace, clarity, and confidence with their money. I’ve completed Financial Coach Master Training through Ramsey Solutions and graduated from Financial Coach Academy. I’ve also led Financial Peace University (FPU) at my church, walking alongside more than 75 individuals as they worked toward their financial goals.

Today, through Family Wise Financial Coach, I help families create practical systems, find breathing room in their budgets, and align their spending with their values so they can stop stressing about money and start living with more freedom, joy, and purpose.
What's My Story
Growing up I remember money was not a fun topic in our home. I remember the tension between my parents when it came to money. The arguments around unnecessary purchases or unplanned ATM stops seemed to happen weekly. As a kid, I didn’t worry about money itself, but I did worry about my parents.​

As a kid, I hated when my parents fought.​

Our family walked through some hard things:

job loss, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and eventually divorce.
Those moments left a mark on me. I decided early on that when I had a family of my own, I would do everything possible to make sure money never stole our peace.

I wanted PEACE for my kids and for my marriage.

But, fast forward a bunch of years...
​​I earned a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering, married the man of my dreams, and felt like life was right on track. But once the student loan grace period ended, reality hit.
​
We were newlyweds with:

$100,000 student loan debt
-
$30,000 of car debt
​
Despite good jobs and hard work, we felt constantly stressed, asking questions like:

Where is all our money going?
Will we ever get ahead?
Is this just how it has to be?
The answer, thankfully, was no.
Once we learned how to manage money with intention — and align it with our values — everything changed. ​
We became debt-free in just 30 months, and for the first time, we experienced peace in our finances. Our home became a place of calm and teamwork, not tension. Our kids now get to grow up in a debt-free home — and most importantly, in a home filled with peace.
That’s why I started Family Wise Financial Coach.
Because I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, stuck, and unsure where to start. BUT on the flip side, I also know the freedom and joy that come from finding clarity and living in alignment with what truly matters.
Now, I help families build practical systems, spend with purpose, and experience the peace that comes when your money finally reflects your faith and values.
